Experience
Scott’s practice focuses on personal lines and commercial matters, including automobile accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, labor law litigation, toxic torts (asbestos, lead paint and carbon monoxide exposure), trucking accidents, agribusiness/farm accidents, recreational vehicle accidents, fire loss matters, property damage matters and SUM matters across all of New York State for various insurance carriers. Most recently, Scott was a Senior Trial Attorney for the in-house Trial Division of a Fortune 100 insurance company where he specialized in the above matters over the last 14+ years.
Over the last two decades Scott has also been appointed by the Court and members of both the plaintiff and defense bars to serve as a neutral arbitrator and mediator throughout New York State and continues to serve in such a capacity.
Prior to attending law school Scott worked in government affairs as the Vice President of a lobbying firm in the Washington, D.C., area where he worked for clients from both sides of the political aisle in order to pursue their interests in the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch.
Scott currently lives in Amherst with his wife and three daughters.
